And then ishant , shami , bumrah... Bumrah's influence on the game will be felt 3-4 years after he retires when you'll have the youngsters he influenced come through. Other mentioned was good pro but Bumrah is higher level. 300+ will be good for him.

Bumrah is unique that is operating consistently in 3 different formats and bowlers from previous generations never had to shoulder that workload. Micheal Holding didn't get to 250 wickets but he is still remembered 40 years later and I think Bumrah's legacy will be similar. In addition, India actually don't play that many tests these days and a 32 year old Bumrah can only realistically play a maximum of 2 or 3 tests per series. He's not getting younger so like all quick bowlers he will need to start managing his workload even more than he has been. Totally different scenario holding wickets were divided with other Windies pacers. Not the case for Bumrah. He will get 300+.

Complete bull, bumrah doesn't have a single 10 wicket hall in tests because other bowlers in the team took a lot of wickets. He bowled with bowlers like ashwin and jadeja who took bucketloads of wickets and India's pace bowling was equivalent to the west indies for a period of 10 years, numbers don't lie Don't make random assertions singhvivek141 and lemsip 2

You are friend of nobody common Bharti paying the price now. You back trusted friend Russia once Ukraine thing started and now back stabbed Iran for mainly for us and less so for colony on Palestine land.

Despite bowling on those "dustbowls"..Bumrah avg 17.7 in India with an SR of 38 with almost 4 wkts/match. Third best avg(behind WI & Aus) and second best SR (WI) amongst the nations he has played in. Even in Aus he has SR of just 39.9. So yeah, your excuse doesnt hold good. India has been preparing sporting wkts and we have good pacers and spinners with whom Bumrah shares his wkts, Ashwin is a legend in his own way & Jadeja too will end up as a player to be remembered in Tests. 3 hours ago, Pakistan said: You are friend of nobody common Bharti paying the price now. What was the need of this statement with respect to Bumrah ? Pakistan murdered 250 Afghani in month of Ramzan on an attack over a hospital ? And sending troops to Israel as security guards against Palestinians ? Bashing Shias to go to Iran despite calling yourself the protector of Islam ? Is this is how you're going to justify your cowardice of not speaking out against Munni Begum ? Tillu and Stan AF 1 1
nevada Posted March 23 Posted March 23 300-325 maybe, but 400 is unlikely. But it doesn't matter, the more important metric is whether we can get any more SENA series wins before he retires.
Lone Wolf Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) Bumrah has a mediocre record in NZ and he has a chance to change it this time. Will he win us a test this time around matters more. Edited March 23 by Lone Wolf

He already has nearly 250 wickets and took over 100 wickets in last 2 years alone. In 2024 when we played tests more he took 71 wickets in one year alone.
