Most teams will have played 7 games in a few days. At the half way stage, which teams will maintain steam, gather steam or lose steam?

Which are your top 4 teams to make it to the playoffs at the moment?

My rough take

Maintain steam: PK (appears solid at the moment)

Could lose steam: RR and RCB (depends on if they peaked early)

Gain steam: CSK (appears as if players are beginning to hit their stride) and GT (if it gets its combination right)

Lose steam: DC and SRH (unless a few players perform consistently, which is a big task in a long tournament)

Party spoilers: KKR, LSG, and MI

PBKS, RR, RCB - likely top 3 in any order

4th - CSK or SRH.

DC, GT will lose steam.

LSG, MI, KKR will be the bottom 3

Rr pbk rcb srh

CSK has a relatively easy draw - They play RCB, RR, PBKS (the top 3 teams) only once and they have already played all of them.

Their remaining games are two against GT and LSG each, and one against MI, DC, SRH.

They are relatively easier games compared to SRH who play all of RCB, RR and PBKS in the remaining games.

Nothing matters on paper. All it takes is one Pooran knock and LSG could easily win the game.

any team can beat any team.

Difference between possibility and probability.

Does LSG have a chance to win on its day? Of course.

But given a choice, would a team prefer to play against LSG or PBKS? Of course,  LSG

You are underestimating srh:giggle: they have good bowling attack and destructive batting line up. They can beat any team out there

Id say that teams that hve nothing to lose (LSG) can beat equally dangerous as they can play with a level of freedom and no preasure

we saw with csk towards end of last season where they racked up a few wins when everything was dons

My post wasn't about SRH at all. It was about which teams CSK and SRH are facing. It seems like CSK have an easier set of opponents in the remaining games compared to what SRH is facing

How did that relatively easy game against GT turn out for Csk?

Let's see about it after SRH face RCB and PBKS

RR seem to be losing steam. Wonder if one of GT/DC or even CSK will sneak through
