zen Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Most teams will have played 7 games in a few days. At the half way stage, which teams will maintain steam, gather steam or lose steam? Which are your top 4 teams to make it to the playoffs at the moment?
zen Posted April 23 Author Posted April 23 My rough take Maintain steam: PK (appears solid at the moment) Could lose steam: RR and RCB (depends on if they peaked early) Gain steam: CSK (appears as if players are beginning to hit their stride) and GT (if it gets its combination right) Lose steam: DC and SRH (unless a few players perform consistently, which is a big task in a long tournament) Party spoilers: KKR, LSG, and MI
bowl_out Posted April 23 Posted April 23 PBKS, RR, RCB - likely top 3 in any order 4th - CSK or SRH. DC, GT will lose steam. LSG, MI, KKR will be the bottom 3

Their remaining games are two against GT and LSG each, and one against MI, DC, SRH. They are relatively easier games compared to SRH who play all of RCB, RR and PBKS in the remaining games. cricketfan28, Tillu and zen 3

Hmm..that makes sense

Nothing matters on paper. All it takes is one Pooran knock and LSG could easily win the game. any team can beat any team.

Difference between possibility and probability. Does LSG have a chance to win on its day? Of course. But given a choice, would a team prefer to play against LSG or PBKS? Of course, LSG

You are underestimating srh they have good bowling attack and destructive batting line up. They can beat any team out there

Of course, LSG Id say that teams that hve nothing to lose (LSG) can beat equally dangerous as they can play with a level of freedom and no preasure we saw with csk towards end of last season where they racked up a few wins when everything was dons

It seems like CSK have an easier set of opponents in the remaining games compared to what SRH is facing

How did that relatively easy game against GT turn out for Csk? any team can beat any team on its day

Bigg Brother Posted April 26 Posted April 26 PBKS should go all the way this time. Too good to miss out. Very likable team. They had assembled great team in 2014 as well, that loss was heartbreaking.
