should have fast tracked a few of the latest performers in the VT trophy.. Aman Mokhade, madhav tiwari , shiva g kumar , ramakrishna ghosh , vicky ostwal , zeeshan ansari, rajvardhan hangargekar , Nachiket Bhute , raj limbani , Sushant Mishra , Ashok Sharma, Eden Apple Tom , Musheer Khan

Given the competition players with power, influence, marketability will not allow new guys to enter that easily. As much as we want BCCI to test  a larger pool of players  it is not going to happen. We have so many lobbies.

hangargekar still bowls rubbish, lambani is no special he can bat a bit, ostwal is also no x-factor player, bhute is hardly 135 kmph bowler.

Madhav just played few games in ipl and few in mpt20 let him play some more domestic FC and list A, same for shivang and Zeeshan.

Mishra, Ashok, Tom should be in Ind cap plans

Gosh had injury at wrong time, if he would have played some more ipl games would have given a right measure of his ability as allrounder. He was bowling 130+ on 1 leg, though it could have been his breakout season but injury at wrong time.

WHen you compare with previous gen leggies like Mishra, PIyush these guys pathetic. We used to troll them. SHreyas Gopal is also poor.  You need to wobble the ball in the air and beat the batsman in flight. Zeeshan is someone they can try

Zeeshan is in India A red ball squad.

We need to find a big hitter batting all-rounder at 7  for ODIs ?

Who are the options ?

having nkr at six and suryansh shedge at seven is a great option because they can easily share a ten over spell and shedge is exactly the kind of guy who can smash boundaries from the very first ball

They will want a spinner cum big hitter at 7.

4 pace options and 2 spin options in SA.

6. Reddy / Hardik

7.  >>>>  Maybe Axar here

8. Harshit .. bowling allrounder

9. Gurnoor

10. Kuldeep

11. Bumrah

i honestly think having three proper pacers with one spinner and letting nkr and shedge handle the rest of the bowling makes much more sense than ggs plan of playing washington then jaddu at seven while axar is not even in their plans

Do you think they will use the new batch of fast bowlers yet?

Gurnoor, Tyagi, Ashok etc.? Even Prince?

They may just stick to Arshdeep,  Prasidh, Siraj to help Bumrah.

Harshit will definitely be in as he has shown batting capabilities.

Rana is good addition as well. Offers lower order hitting also capable of hitting mid 140's.

Hopefully he is fitter and faster in his comeback

I thought he was rested. HOpefully that is the case. Hope they didn't drop him based on IPL. Hope of all the fans was moving away from Axar, Jadeja, Sundar and move towards a batsman who can bowl off spin. But Paragh was a flop this season in the IPL>

Tyagi, Ashok and Prince won't be used.

If Gurnoor keeps bowling like yesterday then he won't be dropped. He has that X-factor.

As bowlers, Siraj has averaged 46.9 and Prasidh has averaged 35.9 in ODIs in the last 2 years. There is no point in picking them.

Arshdeep is ok, averaging 26.7 in the last 2 years.

Harshit is averaging 27.4 in ODIs in the last 2 years.

A whopping 26 wickets from just 14 games.

Plus a batting averaged of 25 with SR of 122.

He has to play.
