Pashtuns cannot be allowed to get closer to Radcliffe line. By around 2060 the combined population of Afg + Pak is projected to be close to 550 million. That's unsustainable Chitral is by extension part of erstwhile JnK prior to obviously Radcliffe. It should act as a buffer zone. Area bordering Badakshan and the province itself relatively have Tajiks and Uzbek's with little trace of Pashtuns so they are manageable people. It was relatively peaceful even during Talibani turmoil. Though the region is dirt poor to begin with. Pooks have for long eyed the region as well as it offers better connectivity to Xinjiang. Pakistan always tried to split India into multiple pieces through their guerrila warfare, promoting terrorist incursion, etc. These were the major steps in a long list of "bleeding India by million cuts". This can't get any more passive aggressive Look at them now. Their own country looks like it may split into different factions. Pakistan should be limited to P-stan going pee pee like their cricket forum. On a serious note, India should be careful at the borders and not laugh too much at their expense. They either may attack their usual way or do some taqqiya or look for some refugge help. We should not entertain any of this. Frankly speaking, It favours China & US if Balochistan & KPK splits up. Balochistan will have all the minerals and port access via Gwadar, KPK also will have no source of income but the port access to Gwadar. China or US can actually pay them some stipend and get unrestricted access to the mines and ports. TTP will probably be the only problem, but if US/China align Taliban, TTP wont cause any further issue. Currently paying via Pakistan is a big hassle coz despite paying big amount of Islamabad, they arent able to safeguard the Chinese & US companies interest. Lose-Lose for everyone. Sgattick10 1

Way to Afghanistan (to keep an eye on Russia & China & Iran)...thats why they wanted Bagram Airbase 3. Pasni Port, to keep an eye of Gwadar & Chabahar. China is funding Pakistan because of 1.
