express bowling Posted July 29 Posted July 29 I think our entire T20I batting unit need to think about adjusting their games a tad based on the pitch type, playing conditions and country they are playing in. And practice this in the series preparation phase. They must think about how to be effectively aggressive. They are not doing this away from home now. Not sure whether our batting coach. Sitanshu Kotak, is doing a good job regarding this aspect. Mosher 1

The announce the team 2 weeks prior, team lands 3 days prior and has barely unpacked their bags when they have to step in the field. express bowling 1

MK55 Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) He obviously has got some batting issues. Always struggles to time the short ball at pace. Leg side play against pace on back of length deliveries is also not good. Prefers giving room to hit on the off on the up majority of the times. Bowlers know that very well now and they will exploit that every single time. He needs to WORK on that weakness. Anyways if he can still get runs he’s good as he gets them at a very good strike rate. Opening the batting also helps him as he can play that high risk game provided the pitch is flat (most are). Personally I prefer more consistency than someone who fails 85 percent times and then gets a big one. Edited July 30 by MK55 express bowling 1
