Pradosh Paul and Andre Siddharth are the 2 guys to focus on ..... but the Zonal Selectors are being vision-less as usual. 

 

Selectors may not be even aware of their names.

They are too busy running their own coaching academies and promoting their own students.

Biggest untapped potential is 19y year old Andre siddarth. Averaging 53.19 in 16 first class games.

Andre Siddharth was highly rated in U19 wcup..though he couldnt deliver per expectations..Good to see..he made good runs in domestics now

Agreed. They should merge North East Zone into East Zone and make it a 5-team tournament with a group stage followed by final. They can even add a 6th team of emerging players who couldn't get into these 5 teams.

This should be made the premier first-class competition since Ranji Trophy quality is too diluted with 38 teams.

Zonal selections can not be perfect, some teams in a zone can be batting heavy with near to 0 bowling and some teams can be bowling heavy , so hard to get best players selected.

 

The concept is v.good but its hard to put it to practice.

Deshpande (4/57) and Tanush Kotian (4/72) shared the spoils equally as North, who were placed comfortably at 117 for 2 at one stage, were left gasping for breath at 220 for 9 before Anshul Kamboj's audacious 60 off 52 balls with five fours and equal number of maximums took them past 250-run mark.
