Auqib Nabi is likely to be the front Runner to replace Jasprit Bumrah in the Sri Lanka Test series. [

Based on A tour and Gill's personal preference  Gurnoor will play unless they go for 4 pacers

Sai Sudharsan is recovering well from a minor toe/heel injury, has resumed batting practice, and remains subject to final fitness clearance ahead of the upcoming Test series

Sai Sudharsan is unlikely to travel with Team India for the upcoming Test series .

As reported the Indian team is likely to fly to Sri Lanka on August 4th. However, Sudharsan isn’t fully fit yet and won’t be travelling with the team.

Although Sai Sudharsan has resumed batting at BCCI’s Centre of Excellence, he is still not 100% fit, due to which he has been advised to not take the flight with the Indian team today. The BCCI’s medical staff will monitor Sai Sudharsan’s recovery and will decide when he can join the Indian squad in Sri Lanka.

Unfit player should not be selected for the test series.

Selectors should name a replacement.

Tanush Kotian, Harsh Dubey and Vipraj Nigam will travel with the Indian team to Sri Lanka as net bowlers for the upcoming two-Test series.

Add Left arm wrist spinner Shivang Kumar too

I'm hearing that Ajit Agarkar might be removed after the Sri Lanka series   but I really fear the BCCI will bring in someone worse. Agarkar had a positive approach towards young players  whereas most of our ex players favor veterans. If one of those ex  players gets picked as chief selector  they'll bring all the oldies back  we might even see Bhuvi and Shami back for the World Cup

Other selectors can still influence like RP singh dropped GIll from T20 set up.

Yeah  hoping for the best  Honestly though I'd take Agarkar any day over some ex  player who just relies on nostalgia and brings back all the oldies.

With Sai Sudharsan reportedly injured, Ruturaj Gaikwad is likely to earn a place in India's squad for the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka.

Reports suggest the team management is considering Ruturaj for the No. 3 spot.
