In cricket, for example, * Blue is used by Afg, Eng, Ind, and SL * Green is used by BD, Pak, and SA * Red-Maroon is used by WI and Zim Only Aus with its yellow and NZ with its black are relatively unique. Looking at the Indian flag, for example, India can use Orange (Saffron), White, Blue (historical ties to Indigo), and Green. There are other original colors as well for example Red Ochre (red clay), Turmeric Yellow, Lac Red, etc. PS I would not have minded Turmeric Yellow to highlight the origins of Ayurveda and Spices.
