coffee_rules Posted September 6 Posted September 6 I didn’t support him as much when he was playing, always was rooting for Nadal. But he is one of the Greatest , maybe second to Djokovic . It is hard to watch this video without tears and a lump in your throat..

The folks who love style and artistry in tennis, Federer is an example of that. Nadal is more brute force and has labored in approach...which looks painful to many. While Djokovic, is 200% mechanical like a robot, which is boring to many. In terms of bowling actions... Federer was like Umesh's bowling action..rhythmic and smooth like a poetry. Nadal was like Jasprit Bumrah....brute strength and give 100% in every delivery while looking ungainly. Djokovic is like Ishant...relentless, mechanical and like a robot bowling spells after spells. G_B_ Posted September 6 Posted September 6 For a sec i thought he had died. We are an On shoes household lol. Due to Fed. bsriharsha 1
bsriharsha Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Always felt Federer was better than the others across all surfaces Djokovic became a beast later but that was also due to Federer starting his decline. Nadal was a freak of nature but as far as purity of tennis and that single handed backhand , has to be FedEx for me. Lord 1

Federer was an artist like Lara or Laxman whereas Djokovic is perfect like Sachin. For a neutral viewer Federer will appeal more singhvivek141 1

For a neutral viewer Federer will appeal more Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. What do you like in? Federer may not be what others would also enjoy in particular. I like to watch a physical game with a lot of strength and power in world. Youthful exuberance It’s also a virtue to watch while viewing a game. Tennis was no more about skill, and it was about power and strength, which is why I like clay more than grass.
