They could easily become the best ever opening combination in the history of Indian cricket. These two guys have played a lot of cricket together for their state, their company, their country, and they know each other very well. You can see how good their communication is on the field and how they enjoy each other's company. Previous Indian opening combinations were just a selection of two random people, with plenty of make-shift openers - no wonder the test team never found a long lasting combination. Until now, that is.
