Dirty_South
Aus have already a lead of 263,they may bat till they get 300 and declare..... India 220ish for 6 Match Draw VVS will get a 50. Link to comment
Sooda
Yeah think we should be able to hang on now. it wont be easy but 6 or 7 wickets down sounds more than likely. Im not sure White has the quality to make use of the dodgy pitch. He only going to rip through us tomorrow now... Link to comment
Dooks
2 sessions are enough for Aus to get rid of our flab 4 plus captain. Motu - scored in 1st innings so won't do in 2nd. GG - hit or miss RD - same as Motu (so will probably fail) SRT - did nothing in 1st and does ever do anything in2nd VVS - hit and miss (more likely a miss) SG - did his bit in 1st so will fail in 2nd Dhoti - hit or miss (may make 20 odd) Bhajji - 1st good 2nd fail Zaheer - 1st good 2nd fail Kumble - FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL Sharma - 20 odd So, 2 sessions - 50 overs is more than enough to get India out. Sorry to be pessimistic but it's going to 0-1 going into the 2nd test. Link to comment
Fontaine
Well they have no excuses. Gambhir and Sehwag will be good enough to see off the new ball and without quality spin the likes of SRT/Laxman/Ganguly/Dravid will have no excuses. Link to comment
coffee_rules
300 declare. India has to negotiate 2.5 sessions. Will fold at 186 and India will lose. This must be the test that Aus wins in the 3-1 prophecy by Sehwag. Link to comment
Dooks
Coffee you make great sense - how does your coffee taste btw? Me also, thinks India folds under 200 possibly even 150. Link to comment

SachDan
Its no more the attacking Aussies on view..won't declare before they add another 70-80 runs to the total.Virtually closing any chance of India winning the match..then Punter and co. will hope for some miracle like the Sydney test to happen! Ram
Aussies wont declare anything short of 315. My guess is, they will bat for an hour and declare, giving India to negotiate around 70-75 overs. But right now, the only two possible results are an Aussie win and a draw. :(( Link to comment

Ram
Someone said the whole match would hinge on the last session of Day 4..... This match is so well balanced, that session 3 day 4 has been too early to make a call. This could definitely be decided in the last 45 mins, just like Sydney was. The good news is, unlike Sydney, we have attacking opening pair. Even if one of Sehwag or Gambhir manage to survive the opening onslaught, we're in relatively safe hands. Personally, I dont think the Aussies can bowl us out in 75 overs. They may come close, but I dont think they will. Link to comment
