fineleg
How has it been? I noticed a few: 1. M.Clarke was out plumb LBW to Amit Mishra when his score was like in single digit or something. Plumb as you can get, and umpire did not give it out. 2. Ponting was plumb to I.Sharma, and not given - though later in same over he got him. Any other? Link to comment
msb1991
In my opinion, we should allow not outs to pretty much any LBW shout as the umpire has a right to say not out if he experiences doubt. Link to comment

h4te
brah, hussey was out plumb to zaheer. I mean, it was hitting middle and leg. height was not even an issue. overall, it's 2-1 against us. OK so far. Link to comment
SachDan
Ishant Sharma to Watson..first ball of new spell..ball hit in line with the stumps, low on the pad..vociferous appeal fom IS and all the close in fielders..Rudi turns it down. 3-1 against us as of now. Link to comment
fineleg
Aus 200-7 Shane Watson LBW Ishant Sharma (ball was hitting lower half of middle stump - there cannot be an LBW more plumb than this) I.Sharma looks in disbelief as Koertzen does not give it out. Good job Kumble and BCCI in deciding you DONT WANT technology/referrals in this series! Link to comment

IndianRenegade
just because he didn't know when to use the referral he decided not to use it! idiot kumble... Link to comment
Ram
We've absolutely nothing to complain. If anything, the rub of the green has gone our way in key moments, till now in the series. Link to comment

bharat297
whats the current score atm in regards to umpiring blunders? Link to comment
Dhondy
What was that all about? Watson on 39, Ishant jags back one that hits him in line, would have knocked the middle out 6 inches up from the turf and Koertzen does a passable imitation of the South Indian yay. If that's not out, what on earth is? Didn't ask for the replay when Ganguly was out stumped, also on 39. Incompetence doesn't come in a bigger package than this. Cricket is being shagged to death in an orgy of umpiring incompetence. It doesn't matter if you bring in referrals...no referrals, it doesn't matter- the men in white will dick-bash you to stupefaction. No other game would take this lying down. Link to comment
DomainK
And I dont believe in that "umpiring mistakes even out in the end" crap. Thats what we have invented to convince ourselves to accept the inefficiency. Human to err.....accepted. But one that makes many errors should be replaced with one that makes less. Link to comment
bharat297
^ Yeah thats true You dont see many umpires moving up to the elite panel. This is what needs to happen. Umpires need to face the same selection pressure as cricketers. Link to comment

And, he then gave him out to a ball that was kissing the top of the stumps. Mind-boggling incompetence Link to comment
