cochise Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I think we should retain Dhoni as a bowler, make Ishant wicketkeeper and Sreesanth captain.

Pak_Forever Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Impressive indeed. I am eager to see how he's going to do against New Zealand in the Test series.
Vignesh Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 @ MArris Against Australia - 7 CB - 10 Asia cup - 6 Kitply cup - 4 again. Sri Lanka - 5 England - 5 Thats 40....
DomainK Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 That ODI win percentage will only get better. Test win percentage is almost unbelievable. T20 is great as well.
Ram Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 @ MArris Against Australia - 7 CB - 10 Asia cup - 6 Kitply cup - 4 again. Sri Lanka - 5 England - 5 Thats 40.... Thanks mate! the record continues to get better If you ask me, Dhoni's REAL tenure as captain was AFTER his first series against Australia, which he lost 2-4. In that series, Dravid was still playing in the middle-order and he absolutely killed our batting with super slo-mo efforts. Discounting that series, Dhoni’s record will be Played 37, W – 25, L – 10, NR – 2. So roughly, he’s lost just one out of every four games he’s captained. No other India captain comes even CLOSE.

This is just a guess, but i think Dravid was pretty close to that win % after he had captained the same number of matches. And i am talking about Dravid post Zimbabwe '05, when he officially became Indian captain.

P - 44, L - 20. I didnt count the wins and no results. Bear in mind, this includes the golden run we had in 2005/06, when we had that most no. of successful consecutive run-chases. Still, it doesnt compare with Dhoni's record.
veer Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 62 % win in ODI with 14 losses.. didnt know he lost that many.. ever since he took over, it seems like we are losing may be 1 out of 5. Sachinism.. it would be better if you post current record in your current post and keep up-to-date record in your first post.. it will be better to see it after say 2-3 years...

cochise Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 B@astard Dhoni...he faced 90 odds balls...he should have made at least 900 runs today! He should be sacked! Indian cricket is totally headless!
