A great religion should be able to embrace any kind of sinner. A sinner needs religion and spiritualism more than others. If he wants to practice the Hindu or the Islamic ways, there is nothing for the Hindus or the Muslims to be ashamed of. Rather its a matter of pride that even a sinner of that magnitude finds direction in a faith that we follow.

Waisay, I don't understand how any one can feel happy about such "celebrity conversions" which are done more for some spotlight than anything else. Seriously.....I fail to understand why anyone would like such people to be associated with their religion. I would be embarassed.

Dont know what they might be thinking or not. Maybe Jacko is finally looking for some solace and has found the answer in religion. We dont know. His brother has been a muslim for a while now and im sure must have had a major influence.

Overall I am sure this will make him a more spirtual and certainly religious person in daily life. He is an icon of pop and one of the greatest singers of all. He may even follow the footsteps of the early cat stevens aka sunni yusuf and learn arabic and do songs for islam. Islam like any other religion should be treated with respect regardless of what other religion. He has made that choice as he believes he will learn from it and he belives overall it can make him a better person. Good for jacko as I hope that all the attention from the fans will not decrease, as overalll the man was and still is a genius.
