Guest dada_rocks Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Utter rot......in the words of Jaswant Singh the NSG could not reach there on time and local security forces were told not to move in till the NSG arrives. But then twisting facts and rewriting history is your forte...facts be damned. Local security forces how equipped they are we have seen in mumbai haven't we....Aren't we stuck with sitting duck ATS chief being kileld without evenbeing given chance to move his thumb.. yes our martyr was shot dead while still seated on front seat of jeep that's how equipepd the geneal police is.. mind you these were the best of the lot of local police..They have zero clue about terror control...They were stopped from moving in for a reason.... Sala yehan teen din mein do terrorist tab control hua when all hostages were killed and somehow that is successful operation.. YEs that was ugly but there was no option ..other option which NDA contemplated was shot down by all and sundry.. and same chumps now are shouting from rooftop why we did what we that

Let's face it we dont have the nerves or the balls like the Israelis nor do we have the unwavering support from the US for all our actions. The mullah turds in Kandahar were far more deadly than Idi Amin's goons.
Guest dada_rocks Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 There is a lot wrong with BJP. But the fact remains' date=' in current scenario, BJP offers a higher chance of success against Islamic terrorism than the PC , minority dick sucking Congress with aversion to strict terror laws . You are trying to paint a picture where all parties are the same, which is wrong. You want "total reform" of the system, but the elections are due in a few months and so that "total reform" is not going to help in tackling the ground realities any time soon.[/quote'] That serves his psec purpose....... even he knows he is being dishonest I have gven these guys account of no. of terror incidents in last five years didn;t convince them I say forget about what tthis UPA govt is doing I ask what is the perception.. I ask everyone point me out just one thing that UPA has done to control terror anythign different that status quo.. i wud have iven them benfit of doubt if they had bene doing sthg and it didn;t work.. these chumps are sitting there undoing what NDa proposed and taking the heat.. whenever anythign happens shout let us stand united.. we stand united fine but would you frekaing try to do sthg or just standing is good enough.... This is why I hate when the morons preach spirit fo delhi spirit of mumbai those things look good when your govt is actually doing sothg but here we have agovt which uses those spirit to hide its royal inaction.. Do freaking sthg if you fail we will understand but sititng there doing nothing is tantamount to abusing people's faith people' resilience...... I ask UPA govt what different have they done since last blast.... OR are they suggesting we will have to take this ***** with this frequency and we must get used to it.. If they mean that then betetr comoe out in open and say that and we will willdecide whetehr we deserve better or there is no better option
The Outsider Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I admit it was a pathetic act. However I still dont think its got anything to do with the party in power. India has always been unprepared to handle a serious security situation regardless of which party was in power. Kaangres is no better. Spot on......and hence my statement that it's a systematic rot cutting across party lines. Anyhow, we have seen BJP did jack***** for the 6 years it was in power and they might come back again next year if they can get some votes in UP and my bet is that they will do jack***** again.
The Outsider Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 you forget the Govt's refusal to fuel the aircraft which then resulted in Rupin Katyal's stabbing ... Selective amnesia much ? :winky: And what are the odds that you would be singing praises of BJP had they taken a hardass stand and been responsible for more deaths ? :cantstop: BTW the NSG did not show up for many more hours here in Mumbai circa 4 days ago. You will also find that the local cops didnt handle the hostage situation and waited for NSG.commandos to arrive Did you say facts by any chance ? :hmmm: Again irrelevant crap, but that's to be expected.......where have you seen me praising the Congress or their actions during the Bombay shootings to bring that up? My point is simple - it was a systematic security failure then and it is a systematic security failure now.
The Outsider Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Local security forces how equipped they are we have seen in mumbai haven't we....Aren't we stuck with sitting duck ATS chief being kileld without evenbeing given chance to move his thumb Why do you keep bringing irrelevant issues as if to presume I am praising the Congress and their actions in Bombay? We are discussing Kandahar was as big a systematic security failure as any and it happened under BJP showing that the party in power can do very little unless there is a complete revamp of the security and political process which neither the BJP has done nor the Congress has done......but if one was to go by your posts we were supposedly living in some Ram Rajya under BJP rule.
The Outsider Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 speaking of re-writing history .... http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Indian_Mujahideen_SIMI_have_purist_link/articleshow/3510433.cms Sound familiar ? I see you are back to your familiar practise of derailing threads with irrelevant crap, that's for sure.
The Outsider Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 you accused DR or twisting history ... hence I thought it was relevant to point out your royal highness' track record . But yeah go ahead and file this under uncomfortable facts ... (or better yet just swish ... ) :hysterical: Secular Messiah my foot Sorry...no time for two bit "Mommy he stole my pencil" fascist dramebaaz like you....move on.....

India has always been unprepared to handle a serious security situation regardless of which party was in power. . Bottom line. If i was in India, i'd vote BJP but realistically speaking, i don't think we would see any ground breaking changes. Niether political party seems have to have the force of will to enforce tough laws and monitor the muslim community in order to prevent such attacks.

I think you have seen too much in life. I have heard that makes one gloomy and pessimistic. Time will tell.

India has always been unprepared to handle a serious security situation regardless of which party was in power. Kaangres is no better. Pretty much sums it up - its a systematic rot cutting across party lines. What's needed is a complete revamp of the way security is handled according to the modern challenges, but no one has shown the gumption to bring about fundamental changes. If this incident actually does bring about some changes, then as much as it pains for me to say, it might just be worth it saving thousands of lives in the future.
Guest dada_rocks Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I think we are in circle again whatever I had to say I have said it.. We have sene the conduct of top brass of local police that is ATS SO I am fully conviced why these guys are not and shout not be allowed to handle terrro situation.. they are just not equipped.. rest is circular logic
veer Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 why we are taking sides behind political parties? both parties are to blame.. i freaking hate the way Manmohan Singh spoke and the way Advani blamed congress... its a shame that those two are two are leaders.. i say elect Modi since it seems he is the only one with guts.. and let him play politics with pakis..
dial_100 Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 PWNgress has no leader of that stature... There are couple others from other party who are not really popular... So who knows what is going to happen in the election...
yoda Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 there is no question that the BJP is more inclined to fight terrorism and less interested in appeasing minorities (which go hand in hand in india btw) than the congress. what was one of the first acts of congress soon after taking power? repealing POTA. gimme a break.

If you ask anyone what has UPA done to fight terro.. majority will draw blank ace but ask what they have done to help terror everybody knows the answer.. POTA..... Blast every month can;t be a coincidence we have gone from blast every year to blast every month in indina cities and there has to be some corelation

beetle Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 India not considering military action against Pakistan. India on Tuesday said it was not considering military action against Pakistan at this stage but was waiting for Islamabad to act strongly against terrorists based in its territory responsible for terror attacks in the country. "Nobody is talking of military action," said External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee when asked to comment on media reports about a possible military action against the neighbouring country. Mukherjee said India was waiting for a response from Pakistan over the extradition of 20 most wanted criminals who are said to be in that country. "We issued a demarche (Monday). We are waiting for a response from Pakistan," Mukherjee told reporters after talks with Arab league secretary Amar Musa. "International community is behind us, including the newly elected US president Barack Obama," Mukherjee underlined. He was replying to a query about Pakistan's response to India's demand for handing over the 20 top criminals who are said to be behind major terror acts in India. The demand came after terrorists, believed to have sailed to Mumbai via the sea route from Karachi along the Gujarat coast, carried out a major attack in the financial capital of India. The Indian external affairs ministry summoned Pakistan's High Commissioner Shahid Malik in New Delhi on Monday and told him sternly that Pakistan's actions must match its Jan 6, 2004 pledge not to allow its territory for anti-India terror strikes if it wanted better ties. New Delhi also demanded the extradition of known terror masterminds like mob-boss Dawood Ibrahim, Maulana Masood Azhar, and Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Mohammed Saeed, who are suspected to have a hand in major terror strikes against India. A day after the Nov 26 Mumbai terror strikes that left at least 183 people dead, India had indicated the involvement of "elements in Pakistan" in this meticulously choreographed attacks at 10 landmarks in India's financial capital. ................................................................................................................ Do they really have to go out of their way to announce that they don't have a spine? No one really expects them to have the guts to take military action, put to publically give away that option just confirms that we are governed by the biggest punch of impotent #$%^#$#. They have been showing that list to Pakistan for so many years and all that that sick country does is laugh at us.Can a few terrorists blow up some of these bloody ministers? Please....
Guest dada_rocks Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Open hostility with military action never is an option. All those who are clamoring for it have no idea what it means.
