Cricketics Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 For me, NDTV, the English News channel provided the best coverage by far. Fantastic Reporters, no nonsense while reporting, fantastic to the point throughout, some great interviews etc. appropriate reports from time to time and good language used on each and ever scenario. What you reckon, which coverage you were pleased by the most? do add some negative/postiive thoughts if you have any about any channel. to all hindi channels - :finger: for their crappy work p.s - varun or someone, can add few more voting options for ex some crappy hindi news channels. thanks
PaiN_KiLLeR Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 You left out the best channels in that list Zee news, Aaj Tak, India TV & Star news get my vote.
DomainK Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 You left out the best channels in that list Zee news, Aaj Tak, India TV & Star news get my vote. Aila!! What about news24?:nervous:
talksport Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 For me... SKY NEWS in UK .....and then NDTV .... BBC is trying to coverup musilm angle
milkman Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 If you say for actual footage then "times now" was the best.
gs Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Times Now had some great footage, but did lousy reporting. NDTV was a good balance of both.
Holysmoke Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 NDTV. The highlight was Prannoy Roy asking the Pak foreign minister, "Why should we trust you"
Rajiv Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 I followed the whole thing on HT News, with parts of NDTV and CNN, CNN-IBN Live
veer Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 great.. now we are having polls on who provided best coverage of the worst attack on India..
DomainK Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 great.. now we are having polls on who provided best coverage of the worst attack on India.. Nothing wrong with that. We felt connected through these news channels only who covered it and kept us updated in real time.
Ram Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Is it only me or there are others out there who feel this time, rather strangely, some of the press'`reaction has been almost filled anger, almost seething with rage. I mean, I have never seen NDTV's Vikram Chandra so animated as he was speaking govt. minister Mani Shanker Aiyar.
Gambit Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 TimesNow for me. Arnab was awesome. But India TV deserve a special mention for these exclusives - Osama ka baap mila chuka hai. Iske bacche nahin jaante yeh unka baap hai. (Osama's baap was NSG chief) 700 se jyada kabootar mare. Kuch to udna bhool gaye hain. Kya hoga inn bechaaron ka. Aaiye dekhen. :bird:

punjabi_khota Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 That INDIATV 7 minute interview with an alleged 'terrorist' needs to be probed. If it was fake, they need to be severely perimanded and their license taken away.
Desi Cartman Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 That INDIATV 7 minute interview with an alleged 'terrorist' needs to be probed. If it was fake' date=' they need to be severely perimanded and their license taken away.[/quote'] also that interview could have been a message to their bosses or something ... I dont think India TV told the security agencies b4 doing the interview ... All channels were just fighting for Ratings ...each and every one
