Under serious pressure, threat of not winning a series where we were heavy favourites, facing 2 spinners on a turning fifth day pitch w/ variable bounce... to produce an innings like that speaks volumes of his sheer class, grit and skill as a batsman. Absolutely delighted - this man is a master.

Add to that the fact that he cut down most of his favorite shots: the straight drives, the square drives etc. It takes an absolute genius to cut down half his favorite shots because they were not suitable and still score a century and take his team to a win on a 5th day pitch. Just amazing.:adore:
