Been a lot of changes over last year in players world wide, established stars fading and new guys have taken the star roles. What is the current test world 11. Here is mine,oviously everyone not batting in normal numbers as wanted to include best players and feel they have class to adapt a little bit 1 Sehwag 2 Gambhir 3 Chanderpaul 4 Tendulkar 5 Hussey 6 Jayawardne 7 Dhoni capt 8 Flintoff 9 Lee 10 Khan 11 Murali Honouable mentions Batters Smith, Ponting, Pieterson, Sangakara, Laxman. All rounder Symonds Keeper Jayawardne best glove work by miles and best glove work since healy, a genius really. But rubbish bat so Dhoni prevails. Bowlers Mendis if playing 2 spinners in for a seamer. Steyn edged out by Lee Ishant No pak players can be mentioned as they dont play international cricket due to jihadi issues.

Based on current form: Sehwag Katich (cant believe everyone left him out. Far better than Graeme "I score against Banglas" Smith) Chanderpaul Sachin Symonds Dhoni (captain)/Prasanna Jayawardena (depending on the number of spinners in the side) Flintoff Ishant Steyn Mendis Murali / Ntini (depending on conditions) Kind of a bowling heavy team and after Flintoff, there are four number 11's. But still there's not a single venue in which this lot cant get 20 wickets for next to nothing.

Exactly. Pacy pie throwers with a smile dont get into such XIs anytime. Apart from 2 home series against India and Sri Lanka, all those people who had him in the list as though there was no questioning of his abilities, have some explaining and some enlightening to do.

Zaheer has been much better than Sidebottom -although in defense of RS, he has not played much at all this year.

clarke is very inconsistent..and symonds can pull off a shewag more often than clarke... i wud have symonds in my team any day than clarke..
