I then cheated:http://www.ivu.org/people/sports/index.html This site lists Carl Lewis, Ed Moses and M. Navratilova as vegetarians. Am not sure how credible the information is ... they list Serena Williams; somehow I doubt that.

ludhianvi Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 In a show on NDTV, Navjot S Sidhu told that he used to be non-veg but an incident changed his outlook and he became a vegetarian. About the incident, he and his friends had gone hunting and they shot a female deer, and inside was its baby. It reminded him of his kids and wife. As you can imagine, it seems like a horrific scene and that's how Siddhu went to being a vegetarian.
