NEW DELHI: "Indian Muslims are capable of solving their problems... We don't need your advice.. Don't try to alienate Indian Muslims by your remarks, here or in Pakistan." This blunt message was conveyed to former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf by a prominent Muslim leader Mehmood Madani at a function in India. Madani, member of Rajya Sabha and leader of Jamat-e-Ulema-i-Hind, made it clear to the Pakistani leader that he or his country need not bother about the condition of Muslims in India. "Don't start your politics of Pakistan from here," Madani told Musharraf after the latter claimed that Muslims in India were alienated and suggested that this was one of the reasons for terrorism here. Virtually retorting the former Pakistani military ruler, Madani said, "Pakistan ki jitni total population hai , us se zyada population hai Indian Muslims ki . (Population of Muslims in India is more than that total population of Pakistan). You should be knowing this." When Musharraf said he was aware of it, Madani said "If you know this, then you should also know that Indian Muslims have the capability to solve their problems. We don't need your advise. Don't try to alienate Indian Muslims by your remarks, here or in Pakistan."
To Mia Musharaff and his paki brothers :finger:

He said that ? Wow, I salute the man. So much for pakys for think Muslims in India are ill treated @Lord, any chance of a link where the rest of us can watch ? What is this brotherhood and Indian - Pakistan brother, sister nonsense. Mush - man should be the last person on earth to talk about the treatment of Muslims. He's a cronie of the Bush administration and all the time he's been spruiking about the supposedly ill treatment of Muslims, he himself greenlighted the Americans to kill Muslims in Pakistani territory, giving rise to talibination of Pakistan we see today So long story short, he basically said, in the bluntest possible means: Musharraf, go :finger:'rself classic :haha:

Well done Sir! In Pakistan, they have Muslims who are also Pakistanis. In India, we have Indians who are also Muslims.

I salute the man. It's a resounding slap in the face of padosis who have been making out Muslims in india as reluctant citizens and wannabe Pakistanis. It vindicates the many posts I've made on the neighbouring forum over the years, protesting such generalisations. Isn't it ironic that most padosis swear by Muslim brotherhood (absolutely nothing wrong with the concept itself IMO- each faith to its own), yet view Indian Muslims with a jaundiced eye simply because they were born Indians, and jump on any affirmation of their love for India as a betrayal of Islam? Thank you, sir. Your words were balm to many hearts here.
