fineleg Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Our team has been way too generous to Ryder. From ODIs to Tests our bowlers havent quite figured him out. Hope no more Ryder show in the remaining innings of Test 2 and 3!
Donny Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 What a start to a Test career. In 14 innings, New Zealand's Jesse Ryder has scored 768 runs with an average of 64. He scoed just 1 run in his first knock and 201 in his most recent (today & yesterday against India). In between, he has hit 38, 91, 39*, 30, 24, 13, 3, 89, 57, 59*, 102 and 21. He batted at first drop for 4 Tests but has now settled into the #5 spot in great style - as his last 6 innings show.
