DomainK Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Gauti: 445 runs at an astounding average of 89 Bhajji: 14 wickets at 21.50 and 94 runs at an average of 23.5 (the runs came at a desperate time) Martin: 14 wickets at an average of 32.71 Tendulkar: 344 runs at an average of 61.31 My call: Gauti by a long way. No competition. Edit: Ryder also had a good all round performance with 327 runs (third highest after Gauti and Sachin), 2 wickets and two catches.
graphic23 Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Pretty sure it will be Gautam Gambhir, but I think it might be Bhajji if he gots another 6WI.

ludhianvi Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 According to the Superselector rankings : Harbhajan Singh 563 Zaheer Khan 526 Daniel Vettor 519 Gautam Gambhir 512 Jesse Ryder 482 Chris Martin 438 Sachin Tendulkar 432 Gambhir may win it
King Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 How about Zaheer Khan? It will either be Zaheer Khan or Gautam Gambhir
Ram Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Gambhir was awfully unlucky to miss out against Australia and was a slightly surprise choice. Hope he is not denied this time too.
Shane Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Gambhir, if there would be another contender it would be Zak
Master Blaster Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 It's between Gambhir or Bhaji, but I hope Zaheer gets it:pray:
Rajan Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Gautam Gambhir! i am sure he wud pluck it out from the hands of any one else if he is not awarded. he missed out 1 against Australia because he was banned for the last test. He shud get it this time.hell of an effort. Zak has also been doing well, a quick 50, a cameo 30, and a fiver here and always making the inroads at the top of the order. But he had received 2 MOS in last 2 series i think.GG missed out on both. he shud get it now. May be Zak the MOM and GG MOS.
ViruRulez Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Munaf Patel :cantstop: I think it will be GG Munaf Patel was the underdog after his dismal performance in the ODIs but he was not that bad :--D
