Laaloo Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I just called Insubuy. They hung up on me. I feel so ill-treated. :(( flamy, You made your post at 10.43 PM Central time on Sunday when Insubuy is not even open. Stop spreading rumors and false information. Gujju PWNS a SOUTHIE :woot:
Clarke Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 flamy, You made your post at 10.43 PM Central time on Sunday when Insubuy is not even open. Stop spreading rumors and false information. An insurance agent asking others to not lie :hysterical:
bhaveshshah Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Clarke, you are making baseless allegations and you are stereotyping the agents. It seems that no one seems to have genuine interest in getting the accurate information to the important questions around here. If that is the case, such questions should not be allowed to be posted here any way.
Ram Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Deleted all advertisement/soliciting content. Bhavesh, icf is not a vehicle for you to spread your business. Even if you want to solicit potential customers, you should at least have the courtesy of asking the mods here if you can do it .
bhaveshshah Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 We have no interest in making unsolicited spam as we ourselves hate it. Look what you said "I think you'll get the best possible advice from the actual insurers themselves." And look what the original poster Suraj said "I am seeking advise from folks who are knowledgable in this area;" If someone is looking for advice from someone knowledgeable and you are prohibiting the answers from such persons? If that is the case, why do you even keep such threads? You would allow to keep the posts where the person is making baseless allegations, spreading rumors and providing false information, but the genuine and accurate information is flagged as spam and deleted. Why don't you just delete the entire thread? And keep it strictly to Cricket?
ganeshran Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 ^^ Chitchat is for non cricket related posts. But not for spam and advertising

As much I appreciate your entrepreneurial spirit for doing what any smart business man would do, I am not going to buy your version of ‘oh well, I am just a knowledgeable person trying to pass on good information..’. Icf, at least till now, is strictly for entertainment/leisure purposes. We don’t sell stuff to our posters here, neither do we appreciate anyone misusing this platform doing the same.
punjabi_khota Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Mr. Bhavesh, would you be interested in one-time offer of the NYT bestseller "How to market your company on the internet: fifty thousand tips and tricks" by famous internet pioneer Marirs Alavasod, for only $9.99 ? Please let me know. Thanks.
bhaveshshah Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Ram, If you are unable to distinguish between unsolicited spam and expert advice, I have no more comments. Just one question that you have not yet answered: If you don't allow the expert to reply to someone's questions, why do you allow to ask such questions? How does that help the poster?

Just one question that you have not yet answered: If you don't allow the expert to reply to someone's questions, why do you allow to ask such questions? How does that help the poster? Does your “EXPERT ADVICE†include listing a website URL, or providing a toll-free number to call? :P Posters here ask each others questions all the time. You can provide answers to them without sliding into ‘EXPERT ADVICE’ mode, i.e, advertising. I don’t know which is worse actually – you bumping this 2 year old thread with unsolicited ads (or), trying to make it sound like you’re an EXPERT giving ADVICE.
