well that statement is only to please tha fans:winky:infact yesterday he said he'll go there again but less times n i would have agreed that he is promoting his movie if its gonna release soon but its releasing in Jan,everybody will forget about this incident till then.n i dont think anybody will watch te movie just because of this.SRK is smart enuf to realise that(atleast i hope so:winky:)
Precisely. I haven't heard of any actor promoting his movie 6 months before. If this was supposed to be a publicity stunt then he would have done it a few months later. Although, I don't understand this. Why would he resort to such cheap publicity when he knows that like most of his movies, this would open to a full house and stay that way for quite long? Why would he resort to such cheap publicity when he knows that this is the first time after 10 years that the SRK-Kajol jodi will be back and so many people are going to watch the movie just for that very reason? Why would he resort to such cheap publicity when his film is apparently bought by Fox Star for a whopping 98 crores? I just doesn't make sense. In short, brand SRK does not need to stoop so low to promote his movies. People are going to watch it anyway!

My Question for the govt: There has been other incidents of professors, scientists, teachers from India being harassed by TSA....where was Rajiv Shukla & Sonia Gandhi azz kisser Ambika Soni then? why wasn't there any outrage then? or is the criteria to wake up congress govt is to be a muslim and famous?

For that much amout of obscene money, I am pretty sure the contract would involve some publicity to be done.

SRK is an attention seeker.I saw in the first IPL league matches, the kind of drama he created. He wants to be the center of attraction where ever he goes, even if it is trouble for him.He got that attention here too.

What an ass-wipe! US wasted Shah Rukh's time: Farah Khan IANS19 August 2009, 10:11am IST Print Email Discuss Bookmark/Share Save Comment Text Size: | Well-known choreographer-director Farah Khan feels the authorities at the Newark airport in the US wasted precious time interrogating Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan More Pics super star and her close friend Shah Rukh Khan, so much so that "three-four terrorists must have entered the US within that time". "The officer who was on duty wasted so much time, energy and resources interrogating Shah Rukh that three-four terrorists must have entered the US within that time," Farah told reporters here. "That officers wasted the time. They should have just gone and searched his name online and they would have known within five minutes who he is. Shah Rukh also ended up wasting time and the American government also wasted so much time," she added. Farah, who was in the capital for the launch of her celebrity chat show "Tere Mere Beach Mein" to be aired on STAR Plus, said that even though it was a mere security check, it shouldn't have taken so long. "What wrong was Shah Rukh going to do there? What were they doing for so long? I agree that there should be strict security, but when he had his passport, work permit, it didn't make sense. Just because his name is Muslim, how can they take so long?" she said. However, unlike many other celebrities with a Muslim name, Farah says she has never experienced such racial bias during her visits to the US or any other country.

Some publicity != Cheap publicity. Every film maker/actor/actress will take part in doing some publicity for their film. There is nothing wrong in that. Everybody in the world does that. However, this particular instance comes under the bracket of cheap publicity. SRK and co. have no reason to resort to such cheap publicity.
