coffee_rules Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 The first one is very obvioius. But somehow they come immediately after them. I don't mind India losing to even Aus, SA, Eng or WI. I want India to beat SL and Pak everytime. I can't figure out why?
Laaloo Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Maybe because they've always beaten us in the most crucial games. e.g WC SF 96 WC 2007 Asia Cup 2000 ( IDk the year) but we were rolled out for 57 Asia Cup 2004 Asia Cup 2008
graphic23 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Sanath is one of the nicest cricketers there is in the int'l circuit. Jayawardene, Sangakkara are all hard working dedicated cricketers. I don't particularly see a reason to hate them. They're confident about themselves. I don't see it as a bad thing. It just hurts to lose because I think that we're a better team man to man, but cricket is fun in that we can lose to any team and win against any team. I still hate losing to the first "most hated" as you put it.
Celeste Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I thought Aus was your 2nd most hated team.

I don't mind India losing to even Aus, SA, Eng or WI. I want India to beat SL and Pak everytime. I can't figure out why? Jealousy is the only reason. They are playing good cricket at the moment. And when people start hating a team(sri lanka) without any reason that means Sri Lanka is on right track. :winky: But we will change that in final.
DomainK Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I can't see a reason to hate them. They are also nice people. They don't abuse on field or cheat. Jayasuruya, Murali etc are nice people. And they are a professional team. Why hate them?

Jayasuruya' date=' Murali etc are nice people. And they are a professional team. Why hate them?[/quote'] And coffee_rules doesnt mind losing to Australia. Let the Australia-India series begin then i will see.:winky: Allan Donald once said in an interview " I dont like the word Australia" :giggle:
coffee_rules Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 I thought Aus was your 2nd most hated team. And coffee_rules doesnt mind losing to Australia. Let the Australia-India series begin then i will see.:winky: Yes it was, but off late with Murali's chucking and the fact that they are an overrated test team overseas makes their attitude hate-worthy. Sanga especially, his behaviour today was Pontingesque. He thought his dismissal was wrong and he had a problem with Dharmasena giving bouncer wides.
cowboysfan Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 cmon-why would anybody hate the lankans?,they are almost cuddly.
Shehezaada Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 nah man they brothers.....aussies are second most hated team
Mr. Wicket Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Absolutely not. FWIW, I've had the chance to meet a number of the SL players in person on a handful of occasions (the Hong Kong Sixes, while they were touring/I was vacationing in South Africa and when I was at their ODIs in New Zealand a few years ago). Some of these guys are real class acts off the field. There are some real *****s out there, guys like Vinod Kambli (who even a few years after leaving the int'l frame still has a massive ego) and Mike Gatting, and then there are some incredibly nice folk like Jayasuriya, Mubarak, Murali, Jayawardene and co. While I don't always go out of my way to support them, I have a tremendous amount of respect for them as people and cricketers and certainly do not begrudge them success. (yes flamy, not even Mathooze :P)
vvvslaxman Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Not as much as padosis. Individually they are good. But Sangakkara can tick you off with annoying statement. After he defeated India he said "India cannot win outside India". We whopped their ass in Australia then in their own den twice. We have been dominating them over the last few years.
Bradman99 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I like sri Lanka, I find them to be a very likeable team.
suraj Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I don't mind losing to SL Sanath is my fav (not more than Sachin ofcourse) Its obvious what the most hated team is- next to that I wud put England and Aussies SL in fact is my second fav team
Pak_Forever Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Learn to lose gracefully. No point in making pointless hating threads.
