gs Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 We need Zak back :(( These guys are pathetic Bring back Sreesanth/Sir Aggy. The current crop is utter tripe! :nervous:
retterimp Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 our bowling :hysterical::hysterical: is so bad that we should fill our team with batters, and have teh batters bowl slow/spin/medium i dont think the part-timers wud give away more runs than our "specialist bowlers" do anyway
Arminder Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 why d hell Indian team not tryin Parveen kumar in Playin XI.... try him instead of RP.....
Params7 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Bring back Sreesanth/Sir Aggy. The current crop is utter tripe! :nervous: Man I would kill to see Sreesanth/Aggy pair in a match today xD We would DESTROY the opposition. :cantstop:
The Outsider Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 why d hell Indian team not tryin Parveen kumar in Playin XI.... try him instead of RP..... Recycling garbage won't help much.
Guest Hiten. Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Recycling garbage won't help much. PK isn't that bad and the conditions in RSA should certainly suit him, IMO. But he is just one spell bowler; you have to make him bowl 10 overs in a trot.

In the right conditions all have looked potent at times. They've tailed off a lot over the past few months and I had thought a break would fix a lot of things, but on recent evidence nothing really has changed. Of the lot, RP Singh comes across as the worst. So I guess you can play Praveen in his place.
WeStMiDz Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 At the moment all the pacers are as bad as each other. I would select the two best bowlers (Harbhajan and Mishra) and then pick two of the pacers from a hat.
zubinpepsi Posted September 21, 2009 Author Posted September 21, 2009 do we really need to go with 2 pacers.. when u know that both are sh!t.. our slow bolwers r doing very welll.. going with 2 craps is gonna be so suicidal..... i ll jus go with Nehra.. and if hes bad.. bring in another pacer in place of him in the next match..
cowboysfan Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 it all depends on the playing surface @centurion.I hope for our sake that it has something in it for the fast bowlers.we can win low scoring games but if its a patta wicket then i dont like my chances, even against pakistan.

coffee_rules Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 The practice match was on a bad pitch and we messed up the chase with some bad batting. But otherwise, our bowling would do well on good true pitches. I would go with Mishra for RPS and use Nehra and IS for raw pace. Part-timers can do better than the 3rd seamer anyway.

Thank GOD for Bhajji. If only our opening bowling had a "decent" attack right now players in other areas could play with a little less pressure.
Ram Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 If there is one bowler who has disappointed me no end, it is RP Singh. Brisk and nippy when he first broke into the side, he also swung the ball appreciably and made the odd one bounce sharply. All of those elements have completely disappeared these days. What is going on with our bowlers?

diegovegaz Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 the bowling line-up is giving me sleepless nights rpsingh nehra nayar bhajji mishra this is perhaps, the most able bowling attack from india
Jersey #10 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 indian bowlers are jokes.... and the batting line up chokes like no other these days...
