We don't need 3 seamers in the first place. Instead of one seamer we can use Mishra who can be handy with bat. I don't trust Yousuf Pathan's bowling. He goes almost 8 an over these days. There will be serious problems in the middle overs.

I think the idea of RPS, IS and Nehra playing in the same ODI is very costly. Even lowly NZ plundered this attack. And the SL final was a close one. We got killed in the prelim match against SL. We need to go with PK for RPS. PK is also a cowlasher to get some runs.

Anyway we form it it looks very imbalanced. Rohit usually bowls off spin. Could have been handy here.

I think Tendulkar should be perpared for bowling atleast 5 overs. Seam up or leg break whichever suits the surface.

Our bowling selection should be a no brainer given we are playing all our matches at the Centurion - Nehra, Ishant, Mishra, and Harbhajan. The batting pretty much selects itself too - Tendulkar, Gambhir, Raina, Dravid, Dhoni, Kohli. The only spot up for contention IMO is the all rounder slot between Pathan and Nayar. I feel we will go with Pathan, though I would not mind Nayar's selection either.

I think Dhoni might play Yusuf over Nayar thinking that his spin would come pretty handy when bowled in tandom with Bhajji. I would want to see Nayara given a chance here if Mishra is playing. We don't need 3 spinnes.

Raina can be quite a handful with the ball as well as he uses the delayed action to good use.
