Dinx - the Jinx
Or have all players suddenly become saints? There hasnt been any serious or even slight sledging incident so far in this tournament. Not just this, itz been missing for quite a while now.. There wasn't anything in the T20 WC, nothing in the Ashes or the other tests/odis played around the world leading upto this event.. Suddenly Australians are looking like the most well behaved side.. WTF.. Mental disintegration or whateva.. bring it on.. I want the spice.. the masala... Here is what I am missing. I'm sure most of you do as well... McGrath to Eddo Brandes (the most famous chicken farmer to have played the game): Why are you so f kcing fat? Eddo quips: Cuz every time I f ck ur wife, she throws a biscuit to me... Old - but definitely gold Link to comment
coffee_rules
Because this is a sport, not a scripted entertainment show. That's why. Link to comment
Dinx - the Jinx
Because this is a sport' date=' [b']not a scripted entertainment show. That's why. thats the best part. the spontaneous response from players to sledging. literally asking the instigator to STFU... you are talking as if there wasnt sledging in the past? :finger: Link to comment
Sachinism
I miss some of the banter. I guess ICC have become extra strict on players? Cricket needs fast bowlers running in, bowling a bouncer and then giving a stare Link to comment
DomainK
Aussies: After the Sydney test, they have stopped it. Pakistanis: They are not getting to play enough> So when they play, they are too grateful to sledge. And then they are losing way too much to show any arrogance. Link to comment

Dinx - the Jinx
Booty dancer Sreesanth's banters are real fun.. can never forget his war cry after dismissing symonds in T20 WC semis Link to comment
King Tendulkar
:haha:Dont forget the banter between Nel and Sree. That was brilliant Link to comment
King Tendulkar
We should be ripping in the aussie batsman, getting right in to their ears, especially pontings. Instead its like a library out there. I have more sledging in my club games. We should slamming ponting and telling him how he lost the ashes again. I believe as a tactic it could work Link to comment

jf1gp_1
every bowler is getting hammered, you cant expect them to sledge after being hit for 4 or a 6 every second ball Link to comment
Params7
Bring Andre Nel back, bring Sreesanth back. Link to comment
yoda
-1 man just because you want sree back in the team. :giggle: Link to comment
nikred
The reason is because all teams are facing each other only once. If this was a 5-7 match series then there is time for some friction to develop between players which can finally get animated in the following matches. Sledging will be back in the Indo-aus series. :--D Link to comment
Sachinism
^^ hopefully not, they way these guys are bowling its better they keep quiet Link to comment
zubinpepsi
simple.. none of the team is performing consistenly well.. they dont have the balls to sledge simply cuz they know tht they dont hava strong team to back it up.. sledging will reappear, when the team knows that they r strong enough to beat anyone at will..
