Dinx - the Jinx
Watch this match carefully for a lesson on 1. How to pace a run chase. 2. How to give respect where its due (good bowlers) and thrash the crappy ones 3. How to use Power Plays to your advantage.. I hope Dhoni watches this game tonight, instead of what Umpton suggested in his report Link to comment
jusarrived
we paced the innings better than SA , our RRR never went beyond 6.5rpo ...on the other hand SA have had to maintain 10+ in the last 12 overs ..only that lower order suks big time. Link to comment
The Outsider
Is this thread a joke? SA need 69 off 35 balls with 4 wickets left Link to comment

coffee_rules
I thought SMith played run a ball, but others were too slow, esp Duminy. We were much better off. We needed 98 runs in the last 15 over. SA are goners... Link to comment

Guest Hiten.
On a different note, whenever SA's backs are against the wall (i.e. chasing higher targets) expect Smith to put his hands up. At the top of my head, I gather 435 run chase in ODI's and Tests, 07 WC super six match vs Aus. He does not have 100% success rate but he gives his best during such harsh times. Link to comment
Sooda
^true say. An innings like that at one end from say Gambhir or even a GG and Raina combo would have been ideal yesterday, but werent to be Link to comment
