 Nice one, yoda. I am sure both myself and vvvs know how much SRT and Dravid respectively have contributed to Indian cricket. But as fans we have every right to be critics as well. :winky:
I am probably one of the biggest fan of Dravid. A dedicated cricketer who is a perfect role model for any cricketer. Just that we have to put things in perspective. As much as i hate to witness this inconsistent showing of some of the next generation cricketers i still think they are one of the main reason India has come a long way over the last couple of seasons. I curse them, abuse them when they suck. But deep down i believe in them. :winky: I am sure they can successfully take India to new heights. We just need to trust them. We cannot make some backup arrangements every time couple of guys get out to bouncers. We cannot allow youngsters to worry about their place constantly. Keep a set of youngsters and rotate among themselves.

Thank god... please no more Dravid in ODI colors.....this unit looked more like the unit of 90s with dravid in the fray

theres no place for RD wen Sehwag n Yuvi come back.but we should not get rid of him or ask him to retire, should be kept in the mix.wenever we tour abroad he can be handy.also is a backup for our main player. We dont want a big player getting injured in 2011 WC n a noob replacing him

We must also admit that besides being a solid middle order player, this man is fantastic in the slips cordon. His reflexes are still good and his catch off bernard stands out as a fine example. RSD :hail:

Karthik (aka superman) flew from second slip in front of Dravid and clanged it.

And don't quote me to remind me of his blinder off Smith's edge in T20 WC.

dravid looks so serious while even batting in ODI's . he needs to express himself and enjoy his cricket .. and when he is batting with younger players in the middle, he should be able to sense the nervousness in them and try to relax them .. example was wen he was batting with kohli and many other instances.. also he dint know when to take the power play. i felt time when yusuf had come to bat was right time to take power play.. he does not look too autoritative to me... he is great but not good enuf for ODI's..

I dont think it was his last ODI.there would be some indication like captain applauding,RD raising the bat or something like that.i think he'll be in the mix but wont play our home games or games in the subcontinent
