Ball lost SIXes that i remember 1) Ganguly's six off Jayasuriya landed in Taunton river. 2) Azhar's six of Tim May landed way way outside Auckland stadium. Healy came up and pressed Azhar's wrist wondering how the heck he generated so much power. 3) Jadeja's six of Waqar .. went outside the stadium. a short ball. He pulled infront of the midwicket. Interesting part was it looked more like gentle pat on the head. Such timing.

Krishnamachari srikkanth smotted Patrick patterson in Adelaide oval's over longest part of the boundary. He cleared like 25 or 30 rows.
vvs, where would you rank srikkanth amongst the big hitters in Indian cricket?

These days even edges carry the ball over the fence. He had incredible eye and bat speed like Sehwag. In the 80s he was one among the two. He was behind Kapil dev. Sandip Patil was more a classical stroke player. More a boundary hitter than a six hitter. Trust me Sandip Patil was a quicker run getter than Srikkanth because of boundary hitting. But six hitting from my memory 1) Kapil 2) Srikkanth 3) Kirti Azad ( My pleasant memory was when he hit Carl Rackemann for 22 runs in 50th over (6,6,4,4,2) 4) Shastri (usually off spinners) There was an incidence that comes to my memory. We were listening to the Sydney Test match commentary in 1985/96. Cheeka was 27, Sunny was 28. Aussie commies were wondering how Cheeka was behind Sunny. After some time Sunny was 28, Cheeka got to 72. He ripped Bob holland to shreds. Same Bob Holland who owned mighty west indies on the same pitch by picking a 10fer. One of his over cost 22 runs. This was a Test match mind you. Anyone SL fan who followed SL cricket in the 80s would never forget Srikkanth who made mince meat of bowlers like Asantha De Mel. Another innings was his 123 against Pakistan in Chennai. Imran Khan and Qadir were shell shocked by his onslaught. Then there was his brilliant counter attack against Patrick Patterson who simply owned Indian batsmen in the 1988 series. It is unfair to compare him with currenty generation. He was doing these things against the likes of Roberts, Marshall, Imran. He lost his confidence when he got hit by Akram. Otherwise he was one of a kind stroke player. He would definitely be one among top 5. Sehwag/Sachin/Yuvi/Kapil/Srikkanth

i think yuvi's six at first T20 WC against lee in semi final went for 113m i guess...it was just awesome shot flicked it for sixxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
