vvvslaxman
Pakistan should be glad that it is a flat pitch. Otherwise they would not reach double figures. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
I really want to see Atherton writing an article about "flat pitches in Australia". Link to comment

riya
Even if the pitches are flat in Aus there must be some bounce in it,absolutely nothing like subcontinental pitches. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Asif has to realize, match would be over in 6 sessions if the pitch has plenty of assistance. Does he want to see another Sharjha episode? Link to comment
bharat297
Even if the pitches are flat in Aus there must be some bounce in it' date='absolutely nothing like subcontinental pitches.[/quote'] That actually doesn't mean much. As long as the bounce is true, whether its low or high ... its a pretty good pitch to bat on. The only problem with the subcontinental wickets is that they are nearly all like that. However the climate there as opposed to in Australia is a major factor. Link to comment
Dinx - the Jinx
Assuming what Asif says is true. will Ponting, the aussie media and english media stop their whining about indian pitches being flat beds? Link to comment

Dinx - the Jinx
or may be the climate change and greenhouse gas emissions are affecting the pitches all over the world and turining them into flat ones :dontknow: Link to comment

Cricketics
Well done Punter I hate him, but this is a fantastic declaration. No one now a days does it with less then 500 on board. Surprised everyone Good one from punter. Link to comment

Clarke
^^ true dat, was expecting 600+ runs Link to comment
graphic23
More than that zubin, I think we all could learn from this (especially Dhoni after that awful declaration vs. NZ earlier this year) - is that you have to make wins happen - and this is going to make both teams push for a result. sm332
yeah pretty surprising declaration. I thought they would go all out for the next 20 overs and then declare. Link to comment
OriginalCopy
I think they should have ground the pakistanis into dust and then declared. Link to comment
OriginalCopy
Obviously he doesn't think this is a batting wicket unlike most. I hope he's right. Link to comment
