kabira
flat pitch or no.. 480 runs in a day is way too many..Even Bangladesh doesn't concede that many... Link to comment
kubrickian
I dont understand why Australia has been preparing flat pitches in this series (maybe to negate Steyn, Morkel, Philander, Kallis ?) The one at Brisbane was a flat track and this one also seems to be a batting paradise. It doesnt seem to be resulting in crowd attendance as most stands seem to be empty. The way forward should be to make pitches more livelier and bowler friendly and get people interested in a contest between bat and ball. Watching bowlers getting flogged all day can get tedious very fast. Link to comment
putrevus
This is not all to do with pitch and more to do with filthy crap bowling dished out by Proteas. That guy Tahir alone accounted for one third of 480 runs scored and that too in 20 overs. They had kallis and steyn injured. Link to comment
rkt.india
flat pitch or no.. 480 runs in a day is way too many..Even Bangladesh doesn't concede that many... BD had conceded 502 in 2002 against SL which is still a record in one day. Link to comment
carnish
BD had conceded 502 in 2002 against SL which is still a record in one day. It aint ... 588 scored by Ind and Eng combined is the record for One Day which happened in 1936. Link to comment
Robelinda
Full tosses that get smacked out of the ground have nothing to do with the pitch. Rank silly short 125k's balls that get hammered for four is just terrible bowling. Link to comment

If people gonna say India was the worst No.1, I say watch this Biatches ... England losing 7 tests this year plus more to come and South Africa playing funny for unknown reasons. Link to comment
Sachin=GOD
This tag rotates as much as the #1 ranking itself. :hmmm: :agree: the only team that deserved the no 1 spot in the last 10 years was Australia. The rest (be it India or Eng or SA) weren't exactly the best in the world for a substantial period and this will continue for some more years. Link to comment

NareshK
Bad day for King Turd :hysterical: This was still a very flat track. The first day, nothing was happening for SA bowlers. So winning the toss was very crucial and the Aussies made the most of it. Link to comment
EnterTheVoid
Adelaide has always been a flat track but it has produced results over the years. For South Africa, the draw is as good as a win - Faf pulled off a Herculean effort in his maiden test, a match saving 100 and that too in the fourth innings! Link to comment
