EnterTheVoid Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 What a dumb a.r.se decision to bat first on perfect bowling conditions. WTF was he thinking ? That's like inviting thieves to ramsack your house, your belongings and everything you own. Truly mind boggling. Sunny skies, easier batting conditions for the days ahead. If Australia don't have a brain - fart, remain optimistic and play each ball on its merits, and considering the fact that Pakistan scored 350 odd in one freaking day, Australia would be feeling relatively confident of a more improved outing in their second innings, looking for a score around 450 + Australia will set Pak a target around 220 - 250 odd with Pak having some 5 odd sessions to chase the score. Burdened by memories of their overwhelming collapses and failures against Australia, Pak will self implode and all players barring Umar, Aamir and Asif will have their houses pelted with rocks. :D All izzz welll poyzzzz, all iz well B-> Shwetabh, your prediction please, all doom and gloom no doubt :sniffle:
DomainK Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 The only way Ponting can save face is by scoring a hundred here and set Pak a 200+ target. Batting is not looking too difficult now' date= but OZ will be wary of Kaneria since Hauritz was getting turn. Yes, with the pitch easing up, Ponting will try to undo the damage he has allowed. Lets see how Australia replies.
EnterTheVoid Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 Actually, even at this stage, the chance of an Australian victory is not as far fetched as it seems since Pakistan, at 200 /2 had a chance to bat Australia COMPLETELY out of the game, if not for their customary collapse, that too in perfect batting conditions. From 200 / 2 to 330 / 8, they lost lost 8 wickets for 130 odd after an opening partnership of some 100 odd runs. If they are asked to chase anything around 180 odd in their second dig, its game, set, match Australia. At 200 /2, they held the game by the scruff of the neck. Now, wait for the real collapse.
The Outsider Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 LOL at people harboring hopes of a FTB comeback - Australia are going to lose this by an innings.
CSK Fan Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 15 million on Aus. I trust the poyzzz completely

Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I was gonna point out the same pioneer. Did you even watch the game? or are you considering it your duty to troll?
EnterTheVoid Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 Perfect is an exaggeration, I admit, but damn good conditions to bat on, certainly a launch pad to bat Australia out of the game. Pitch eased out, sunny skies, with most of the Pakistani wickets due to some half - ar.sed shots. Plenty of edges etc, but, how do you exaplain the collapse ?
falcons360 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 austrelia is not loosing this match. The match is possibly hading toward a draw. The way Umer Akmal was batting i thought Pakistan might have just pulled it off, but after is wicket i think the game is hading toward a draw. But hay you have to give Pakistan some credit, they are giving Austrelia all they can handle.

Gambit Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Bet placed. I'll buy a yacht if Australia win from here.
achilles Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Sami & Asif are gonna win this game for Pakistan, I believe :--D
King Tendulkar Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Look pak have won this. Pakistan team has been a joke for years. But credit were its due its gonna be a great win for them, albeit against a former great team who are a pale shadow of themselves. No doubt pak bowling is very good. Unfortunatley their batting is still poor which will mean sporadic great wins like in this test, followed by amazing losses due to shocking collapses.
Desi Cartman Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Bet placed. I'll buy a yacht if Australia win from here. for me ?:dance:
cowboysfan Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 i bet my whole enchillda (35 mil) on a aussie series win:nervous:
Dravid Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 nice sunny day sree... aus will score 400+ def..
EnterTheVoid Posted January 5, 2010 Author Posted January 5, 2010 sree_oz seems to be close to breaking point here Earth to sree_oz.....any sign of life there? LOL at people harboring hopes of a FTB comeback - Australia are going to lose this by an innings. :sniffle: Oh, where art thou Shwetabh, suddenly nowhere to be seen. 100 down, 100 to go. Openers saw off the new ball, pitch has eased for batting. Missed fields, dropped catches, missed run out opportunities, like I said, Pak will collapse under pressure, not that it comes as a surpirse to anyone. I am backing Australia to score 450 + and set Pak a target around 200 - 250 ish. Are you backing Pak to breaking their losing streak, which currently stands at 10 TESTS IN A ROW Don't tell me you'll be jumping bandwagons
vvvslaxman Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Sree has unshakable confidence in Pakistan's inability more than Australia's ability :hysterical:
