The Outsider Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 ghulam ali is my favorite pakistani singer. rahat fateh ali, shafqat amanat ali, nusrat, mehdi hassan etc all come after him for me. Mehdi Hassan is the baap of all Ghazal singers. I find it funny that you have mentioned his name in the et al.

Thing is I have heard only 1 ghazal of mehdi hassan (zindagi main to sabhi pyar kiya karte hain), n that is grt. Was listening the same even after the song tht I had posted. But there's smthing abt ghulam ali's voice tht I tend to like each n every ghazal of his... You can prolly point me to some more mehdi hassan gems....
