coffee_rules
Looks like he is very popular in BD. Everytime he came on screen (bat or bowl or speak), he was jeered. The way he said "Yes, a lot of Indians are very popular in BD" with a dead-pan expression to RJS at the presentation ceremony was priceless. Link to comment
Lord
If his words backfired' date=' how many would use this argument of "its just his nature" in his defense ?[/quote'] most sane person would.if we fail,it will be because of playing bad cricket, not his words. if BD do get 20 wickets in Dhaka test,it'll be bad batting by us n good bowling by BD.Sehwag's words r irrelevant once the match starts. Sachinism
Padosi's get wound up over anything related to India. I'm sure they didn't say anything when McGrath was predicting 5-0 whitewashes of England or whoever they played Link to comment
vvvslaxman
lol Viru is pretty blunt. No sugar coating. Best way Bong players earn some compliments from Sehwag is by playing for Delhi Daredevils. or any side where Sehwag is part of. You can hear things like "We have Murali. he will do the job for us" "Vettori is the best spinner in the world" "Gambhir is ideal for captaincy" Link to comment

thevortex
Add "Nannes is the quickest bowler I've ever faced" Oh, Nannes sure is fearsome. His first delivery - sans any warmup on field - on most days rocketed in at 148 kmph! I dont know if there have been faster left arm bowlers ever. How fast did Alan Davidson bowl? The Outsider
Some seem to be missing the notion that if Bangladesh would have taken 20 wickets, Sehwag would have been grilled in the media, by fans, and experts. Everyone would have had a field day. It takes innate courage to drive home the point after getting so close to being proven wrong. Remember how cricinfo and the Indian media literally creamed all over themselves after India's ordinary first innings? Link to comment
nballa
sehwag needs to learn to respect the opposition. such statements make him a bad ambassador for the game. Link to comment
