Saw him in the under-19 world cup. He looked like a hit the deck bowler. But he is getting lot of leg befores as well here. 4 leg befores and 3 bowled against WI A team. Does he swing the ball?

hmm. I only watched him here in Australia and he really could rip through the batting order on his day. Yea he cant sustain 150 speed all day long, particularly in a test match.

There is a significant drop in pace when he bowls in subcontinent. Ishant clocked 152 kph in Australia. Not a single Pak bowler touched that speed in their recent tour. Aamer has a fragile body that is not designed to clock 150 kph day in day out. He will pick up lot of injuries if he continues to strive for pace.

There was on and off cloud cover too. Compared to West Indies bowlers who bowled to him one thing he did was make them play a lot and bowled a good line generally. A pity I didnt stay back to watch the Post tea session:(

Aamir went easily went over 150kph that series. I watched every match and he was one of the fastest bowler that series if not fastest. And him being a fragile bowler? Which fast bowler bowling 150kph isnt fragile ?

kudos on the 13 wickets but many a Indian medium pacer have been left floundering on flat wickets as they have no clue on how to bowl on them.

He was understandably thrilled with his first class debut. “I was expecting to perform well but not much,” he told DNA from England. “I enjoyed bowling in seamer friendly conditions.” He also revealed that it was easier to bowl with the Dukes ball. “Here we’re bowling with the Dukes ball which helps seamers. The conditions are fresh and a fast bowler, who can implement well, will be successful,” he said. For the Saurashtra pacer, the experience with Akram during the IPL was fruitful. “He helped me a lot. I not only asked him about T20s but also spoke about how to bowl in the longer versions. He taught me a few tricks and helped me with the wrist position that has been instrumental in controlling the swing,” he informed. So will he cut down the pace to get that extra swing? “No. I am not going to cut down on my pace for swing,” was his instant reply. The Porbandar-born youngster knows that many cricketers like India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni have used the ‘A’ tour to get an India cap. “But I am not thinking on those lines. Every cricketer’s dream is obviously to play for India but I am not keeping that in mind as it will put pressure which is going to distract me. Hence, first things first. I want to perform here.” He added, “I am happy that my first-class career began in this fashion and would like to use this A tour to the fullest.” Many a fast bowler has gone astray after being bombarded with advice from different people and Unadkat is aware of it. “As of now I am doing well and I don’t want to change anything. I will listen to suggestions but won’t necessarily apply them,” he signed off.

wasim akram is a pak ISI agent ..always giving wrong advice to the indian bowlers ..look at irfan patan :hysterical: .....joke on a seroius note .. ive watched Jaidev Unadkat in the u19 WC nd he was looking good ..swinging the ball both ways and at good speed
