The thing is regardless of whether you finish at the bottom or at 5th.. makes no difference.. All go home. All won't take part in CL. Finishing at 5 and losing out to no.4 team on NRR is more heart breaking.
Thats why :pw: always finish at bottom, atleast they get wooden spoon.

Sad outlook to have on life. Often respect and holding one's head high has no monetary or materialistic values

Are you saying KKR didn't play for pride? THey dd.. But somebody has to be at the bottom. When you are placed there this is one way of consoling yourself.

Not really, there is a huge difference between fighting honorouably, winning matches and losing all your matches. KKR of course did not play for pride or show as much passion and performance as SRH did and even KKR fans will tell you that. So if you are saying that SRH and KKR will be at the same place after the IPL is over if SRH has not qualified, then you are wrong. If this was true, no sports fan would follow any game whatsoever, they would just look at the final league standings and jack off

KKR season over. Gambhir accepted that also...because he included Ten in the team for their last match & made the struggling batting lineup stronger. THAT was never going to happen if KKR was still in contention....kyo ki Gambhir false ego is bigger then the team.
