Sqaud selection looks weird to me. 1 keeper, 4 specialist batsmen (5 if you count DK as a specialist batsman), 4 pacers, 3 spinners and 3 all rounders!! Two specialist batsmen GG and Yuvi go out, 2 all rounders(Nayar and Yusuf) replace them! Also 3 spinners in the team is too much of a luxury. Should have selected an additional batsman there. SRT, VS, Kohli, Dk, MSD, Raina, Yusuf/Jadeja, Zak, PK, Mishra/Ojha, Nehra..Dont see Tyagi, Ashwin or even Nayar getting picked in the final 11.

My choice for Ist ODI. SRT, viru, Kohli MSD Raina Nayar, Jadeja, PK, Ojha, TYagi, Nehra I dont want to overburden Zak in ODIs, so give him rest and Play Tyagi!

actually Mishra is a good pick imo.he did well in BD tri series too.always handy option to have.we need a wicket taking option in middle overs n he provides that. agree about 4 seamers,specially wen one of them isnt Irfan.atleast Irfan can bat

Batting looks a bit undercooked for sure. But I'm happy with the fact that Kohli and Raina are sure to play up the order this time with the kind of squad being selected. The bowling is cannon fodder as always.

SA will smoke this team out.

I think this is what the selectors wanna see.whether they can handle additional responsibility.if they do well,a test opportunity is also there for the taking
