achilles Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Ishant got picked. Thats the worst possible selection move, and atm atleast, it seems so.
gs Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Debutants should kill to debut against India Have lost count how many times have we "made" the careers of debutants and resurrected careers of players hopelessly out of form! Talk about Indian hospitality!!:--D
Gunner_Mania Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Absolutely. I think the number of players who have their individual highest test score against India must be the most. Wish we could get that stat. From an opening batsman to a Number 11 there will be batsmen at every position whose highest is against India.
Rajiv Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Looks like u forgot this one http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63951.html
ViruRulez Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 [Obama mode] YES WE CAN [/Obama mode] Even with normal mode it is YES WE CAN :P
urbestfriend Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 427- till 250 going along nicely then there is a mini collapse , followed by some tail wagging
Fontaine Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 The 2nd/3rd days are going to be the best for batting before the pitch starts taking more spin. Hopefully the big players like Sehwag/Gambhir/SRT/VVS show up and push the score past 400.
vvvslaxman Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Congrats Alviro petersen Congradulations. 3rd person to score a century on debut in recent times. 3rd South African to do so.
vvvslaxman Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Actually last year alone 5 debutants made 100s. North Fawad Alam Trott Umar Akmal Barat
pappu_kanghi Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Thats our kind of cricket. Eden gardens, electric atmosphere, thousands of supporters appealing for the lbw decision and crowd roaring after getting a wicket. This is classic indian cricket atmosphere at its best. Eden gardens, chennai and Bangalore are the real test cricket centres for india. They will never remain empty.
