I personally would prefer dropping Ishant from international squad for sometime.. let him get back to form in domestic and county cricket etc. and then return .. its time to give chance to Tyagi instead .. he cannot be worse than Ishant :giggle:

He actally tried in that speel to bowl express and hostile. May have not got wickets but took amla out of his comfort zone and led to his wicket.

Yep agreed about that spell - not personally successful but the team benefited from the pressure he created. Need to see a lot, lot more of this from him, at times he just looks so listless and just bowling for the sake of it.

Good spell by Ishant as I read he was the one that started it

Not a bad effort from Ishant today. Length was good, line better and the pace was very consistent. One thing that he needs to focus on is to keep bowling as many inswingers as he can, cos the moment he tries bowling those inswingers his pace goes up a yard or two and he easily touched 85-86 mph. The problem starts when he starts trying too many variations. Somene should tell him a series of inswingers all landing outside off stump and slanting in will make his ball that goes straight on much more effective.

This guy is an over-rated bowler. He managed to keep Punter as his bunny. He is still living on that. It is painful to watch Zak bowling without any support at the other end.
