As an Australian I have to admit that NZ were the better team in the game and deserved the win!! McCullum with the bat was phenominal and Southee was just as good with the ball, especially under pressure. He was pretty lucky to get out of the way of White shot for four though. It would have taken his head off

That was a superb match.. It had everything a spectator could hope for - 4 express bowlers hurling projectiles at 150 kph, some unbelievably inventive and attacking stroke-play, truck loads of runs and a thriller of a finish. But from an Indian perspective, this match should also give us vital clues as to how to handle the Aussie pace arsenal in T20s. Both the Windies and the Pakistani batters tried to swing as hard as possibly can, in front of the wicket and failed miserably. New Zealand committed the same mistake in the first T20 and paid a heavy price. But then they changed tack and decided to use the pace as a friend, rather than treat it as a foe. So, all the wild swings in front of the wicket were replaced by late cuts, leg glances and dilscoops and the results are there for all to sea. This match provides a good template for other teams, when it comes to managing the Aussie pace assault in T20s. However, not everyone has the skill to pull it off. It isnt easy to scoop a ball hurled at 150 kph over fineleg for six. You need a lot of luck, but at least, the kiwis have shown that it is possible.

Great game. Brendon McCullum made my day! Inventive, fearless batting on his part. Tim Southee held under pressure when many others would have failed. Phenominal 3 overs from him. Overall it was one of the best T20's I've watched.

It may not Be as simple..its one Guy who took out entire opposition... I never expected Oz to chase that Score without Watson...but they are Tied match..i dont think Nannes will fo for 50 runs in a T20 match regulerly... Also they made a mistake of having Tait for Super Over ..a person who known for Stress related issues...(it shouldnt have mattred after Southee's Outstanding Over) Great match...

He deserved it. You don't run your mouth just because you think you are in form and bowling at 90MPH. This is one of the main reason why Aussies are hated. Their tongue's supersede their efforts with bat and ball. And the faces of these rascals after being slaughtered was a sight to behold.

Johnson or Nannes should definitely bowl the super over, Tait is there for his X-factor and speed but is wayward at the best of times. Id look to this more as a captain error than bowler error, we all know how Tait is, everyone on this forum, every forum, knows he can be inaccurate. Yet they still used him in the super over. As for Atul Sharma, who is that?
