Roshanrocks Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Vinay Kumar deserves a fair trial http://www.cricinfo.com/ranjisuperleague2009/content/current/story/443587.html he has been performing in the domestic level quite well... it seems he can bat a bit too.... lets wait n watch
S.Bond Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Virender Sehwag Gautham Ghambir Suresh Raina Yuvraj Singh MS Dhoni Rohit Sharma/Dinesh Khartik Yusuf Pathan/Ravindra Jadeja Harbajhan Singh Parveen Kumar Zaheer Khan Ashish Nehra. That is going to be look of the indian team. Strong batting for any conditions in this format. Bowling is weak, but guys if the pitches do help spinners indian's bowling is good with so many players who can bowl very well on spinning helping tracks in this team... I am surprised a litle bit by this pessimism, the question in the poll is "is this team good enough to win the world cup?" that mean CAN they win the world cup, and the awnser is yes. But will they, not sure... As no team can be sure. The only team i see a litle better than the rest is Australia, but even they will have to proove themselves here, because Tait, Nannes and Jhonson bowling quick is good but they will not be at home and we can already see the difference even in none international cricket like IPL.
IKnowU Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Alrite boys....whens the next world cup? India's journey will finish this WC before you you know it.
mhr123 Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Karthik is way ahead of any spinner in T20 format...
Sachinism Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 how the feck do you drop Ohja and pick Chawla instead? dumbass selectors.........and that vinay kumar is just a passenger whos gonna probably get knocked around the ground in his only game and never to be seen again. Whats the point of having domestic cricket and IPL if the performers are not going to get a break
don_corleone840 Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 srikanth not selected badrinath and murali vijay this time.:hysterical: i could have selected robin uthappa or virat kohlii over rohit and mishra or i.pathan over piyush chawla.
IKnowU Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Whats the point of having domestic cricket and IPL if the performers are not going to get a break Well why dont we see if indeed the performers are gonna get a place in the starting XI and even if they make it that far how quickly will they be dropped.
TheWall Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 how the feck do you drop Ohja and pick Chawla instead? dumbass selectors.........and that vinay kumar is just a passenger whos gonna probably get knocked around the ground in his only game and never to be seen again. what has Ohja done in this IPL or even in the domestic circuit?
Sachinism Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Some poor selections. I don't see whats wrong with picking some form players
diegovegaz Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 no kohli, uthappa, tyagi, ashwin, pandey i was expecting such a selection from cheeka and his set of morons our campaign is over our only win, might come against afghanistan
gaurav92 Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Batsmen can score the runs but bowlers cant defend even 180.Feck not a match winning one :headshake:
SachDan Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 no kohli, uthappa, tyagi, ashwin, pandey i was expecting such a selection from cheeka and his set of morons our campaign is over our only win, might come against afghanistan feck..I haven't noticed that..No Kohli? omg What has Rohit done to be selected ahead of Kohli? selectors have blundered big time here!
asterix Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 The idea is to get out of the tournament in the first round itself and then enjoy the remaining matches in from for big LCD/Plasma screens over chilled beer..Just like last time..ICC events are there to give the bodies rest after the gruelling schedule of IPL matches..
flamy Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Well... atleast there is no Ishant and Sreesanth :yay:
IKnowU Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 what has Ohja done in this IPL or even in the domestic circuit? T20/20 wise hes good as any of the spinners. I dont see however Chawla being better then him. Ohja uses his brains to workout a batsmen..........chawla just puts it up there and prays and hopes the spin will do its thing.

IKnowU Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 :hysterical: hey better then dartbhajan, fatraj and chawla. Jadeja is probably better. :finger:
hitman1980 Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Selection committee hasn't taken IPL performance into account .. tht's one positive .. Regarding pandey or tayagi not selected .. Tht also is good decision .. Give them chance in ODIs or tests .. rather than t20 .. See wht happened to rohit .. So these youngsters should be first put into test/odi before placing them to t20s .. t20s can shatter a person's confidence .. Only bad selection was rohit in place of Virat ..
Lord Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Good selection-Vinay Kumar Bad - Nehra,Chawla.Irfan n Mishra should have been in Ugly- Rohit:WTF: wat has he done to be chosen ahead of Dhawan,Pandey,Uthappa,Kohli, even Satish n Tiwary.
