DomainK Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Afterwards: Nice movie. A bit creepy though. Could have been better.
Laaloo Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Home 10/10 Movie shot mainly from the sky about the Planet Earth and its future. Awesomely done. Some of the stats in documentary are shattering. Brilliant views as well. It's available free on Youtube: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqxENMKaeCU]HOME - YouTube[/ame]
Shane Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Watched Singham, for some strange reason I liked it, esp for the guy who played villian and the heavy tulu and Shetty influence in the movie :D
Mariyam Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Watched Singham' date=' for some strange reason I liked it, esp for the guy who played villian and the heavy tulu and Shetty influence in the movie :D[/quote'] Where was the Tulu bit in the movie? I seem to have missed that.
Shane Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Where was the Tulu bit in the movie? I seem to have missed that. Couple of things actually, when the roots of one of the criminals is traced back to Karnataka, the conversation between the police officials, the confession of the criminal was in Tulu. More importantly Mama Shetty been given a small role, know him personally. Is a partner in one of the most successful coaching academys in Mumbai, but has always had this aspiration to become an actor but sadly he is terrible at acting. Finally, its a Rohit Shetty movie, namma namma Mangalore :P

I remember that scene. Honestly I prefer his Golmaal series to Singham :((
Shane Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Honestly I prefer his Golmaal series to Singham :(( Ofcourse, Golmaal is a classic series, my views on Singham has a strong bias, but I still think I can watch it again :P
tapish Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 wtf singham ??????? its not even a 1tym watch, forget about watching it twice :hysterical:
Guest Gunner Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Cowboys & Aliens - 1/10 Thor - 7/10 Rise of the Planet of the Apes - 9/10 (Ceaser is epic!!!)
Desi Cartman Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I couldn't tolerate goolmaal 1 and didn't have balls to even think about watching the sequels. Kya pathetic movies banatay hai yeh log :headshake:
Desi Cartman Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Cowboys & Aliens - 1/10 Thor - 7/10 Rise of the Planet of the Apes - 9/10 (Ceaser is epic!!!) I liked planet of the apes but it seems more of a set up for the future sequels.
kabira Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I couldn't tolerate goolmaal 1 and didn't have balls to even think about watching the sequels. Kya pathetic movies banatay hai yeh log :headshake: the first part was really good. Ofcourse if you watch in good CAM prints you won't like anything.
Desi Cartman Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I didn't see a cam print if I remember correctly but it doesn't matter as long as the print is good. I saw planet of the apes on cam print and quite liked it. Maybe I just couldn't tolerate tushar kapoor lol
kabira Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 ^well best part of the movie is tushar kapoor has no dialogues.
Dark Warrior Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Abre los Ojos (aka Open Your Eyes) 10/10 One of the best movie I've ever seen. And I was like :WTF: when I realized Inception was inspired from this movie!!!
Sooda Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Did folks who watched Capt America stay till the end and catch the Avengers trailer???!!!!! :woot:
zubinpepsi Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Captain America is a fkin joke of a movie.. Planet of the Apes.. awesome..
gaurav92 Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Watched Aarakshan today. Nice movie, but could have been much better had it stayed on the main theme of "Aarakshan" rather than playing around with the commercialization of education with the increasing threat of the growing commercialized coaching centers. And the idea of "Tabela Coaching Center" with Free coaching for all is practically not feasible. It was all messed up in the end, so what could have been an outstanding movie just turned out to be another disappointment from Prakash Jha :((
jusarrived Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Boy in Stripped Pajamas . Very touching . 7/10
