Mariyam Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Rockstar 5/10 Quite a poor movie. The first half is promising and cute. Ranbir as the loser Janardhan is likable and spontaneous. The second half is when the plot goes haywire. Its more a tragic love story than the story of a Rockstar. The music and the songs are the only saving grace. If this movie makes it big at the box office, it will only be because of the music. Nargis Fakhri can't act. Ranbir Kapoor acts well, and maybe the star of this decade. But even he has a tough time keeping this movie in place.

Oh and it is directed by an Indian dude so I have to support it.... 2 extra points for Frida Pinto's you know what...:wink_smile:
