beetle Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Going by the rave reviews its been getting, will try and catch Kahani soon. Vidya sure seems to know how to pick a script. Suddenly it's like all those scripts with a strong heroine role that have been lying in wait are bursting out of bollywood all of a sudden now that there is someone to do those roles and do them justice. Kareena can suck ass as always with her 'three expressions of surprise/sulk/bachao' and be called the queen of bollywood all she wants, but the fact is there's a new queen in town and she's not afraid to rock. Agree...I really can't believe she is called a good actor...screaming and making faces is all she does.I rate her as badly as Aishwarya R B as far as acting goes.

One can not recall too many great performances of Kareena Kapoor. She is ordinary and nothing more than that, may be with the exception of Jab We Met, where the credit goes to the director. Come to glamour and Bebo is beaten flat by Katrina. I can't believe some award function gave her the best actress award in popular category for Bodyguard. She gave a very ordinary performance in that film. I still remember watching that film and wondering why the director did not stress no more takes.

rkt.india Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Watched Kahani. Disappointed. It is not as good as it is talked about. Climax of the film makes whole plot meaningless and illogical. Suspense was there, but was not effective for me, trying to be too real was a big negative, was hanging between real and unreal world. The only thing looked interesting to me was the character of Bob Biswas that too did not culminate in anything at the end. All in all 6/10. Most people will like it, but I found logical issues there. Climax made whole film pointless.
