Totally wasted Vikram and even the point they are trying to make with Jiva's character is not emphasized properly. Almost all who has watched it have the same opinion here.

There are some hidden gems in the movie - most people have actually missed the start.

Desi Cartman Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I watched it about 40+ times now. There are some hidden gems in the movie - most people have actually missed the start. One of the thing which cracks me up is that Salman always calls Robert as Rabbit. It usually goes unnoticed then there is galti se mistake ho gaya .. kamaun main udaye woh, ek to naukrani hoke pe sofay pe chadti ho :hysterical: there are 100s of those which you miss when you watch the movie for the first time.

Nova Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Cowboys, I have seen all of them, and I agree. :D But I have not seen Andaz Apna Apna, so can't compare..lol. I would add Bheja Fry to the list. It's a modern masterpiece, better than the French original imo.

I see it's a word-to-word coy. A lot of Mallu films are rehashed in other languages I guess. It would be interesting to know if the Mallu film is not itself rehashed.

Mallu movies usually have great storylines and top notch acting but they are made on shoestring budgets and have extremely poor production quality, so the remakes end up being more popular in the mainstream than the originals.
