Pacific rim - 2 hours of heavy metal fun with little bit of inception thrown around. Predictable story overall. But looks like another big budget box office bomb. Idris Alba :hatsoff:

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag - 6.5 / 10 A three hour stretch of a movie worth 2 hrs and few odd minutes. The love story angle was totally out of the blue and not necessary. Sonam Kapoor can't act, can't talk with her eyes, WTF was she doing in the movie? :dontknow: Some old flashbacks showing Milkha's mental instability due to events in the past got repetitive. But in a Bollywood movie, you do need that flashbacks and all that in back of your mind to get that extra zing in your stride for sprinting just to prove a point to yourself yeah! The movie had decent music, but songs were not so good and were large in numbers. The key moments were very well directed and the movie will definitely get you in whirlpool of emotions. In a few scenes, tears literally rolled down my cheeks. Overall, a good movie which could have been so much better. Not as good as you wanted it to be, but not disappointing either. But if you are going to watch thinking it has come from RDB's director, you will be disappointed. SO go there without expecting much, and you will enjoy this movie.

Table-No-21-925666673-4140443-1.jpg Finally got around to see Table No. 21. Awesome thriller :hatsoff: Quite impressed by the director and the way whole movie was shot for a low budget film. Unfortunately in India, good movies rarely make any money. Must say very impressed by this new crop of unlikely superstar/actors like Rajeev Khandelwal & Ayushman Khurrana...Tena Desae deserves many more roles compared to that untalented Sonam Kapoor....Tena is vivacious and can hold her own :woot: 7.5/10 .....highly recommended!

Pacific Rim was an utter tripe. Clunky, overdrawn...bored me to death. Save your money and wait for DVD to come out. 4/10.

Watched Dead Right, a parody of Dirty Harry ( here "Dirty Barry"), combined with comedy and gore movie spoofs. They hunt for a serial killer, killing people who buy Weetabix, so he's actually a cereal killer. It's hilariously bad, that we forget that it's a stupid movie. The most notable scenes are killer, wearing a bright orange raincoat, hiding from a woman by simply pressing up against a doorway (she walks straight past him despite his being in plain sight with no camouflage); Detective Barry Stern being assaulted by a cat; a very lengthy, gory (if holi color water counts as gore) fight scene where Barry and an MI-5 undercover agent kill a gang of "box-monsters" (all in the killer's gang) and a scene where the murderer kills the film's director himself.

wanna watch this movie. It is supposed to be a remake of clint eastwood's unforgiven. The japs are masters at making such movies. ozk-AgFJAwg Is there a thread to post trailers? I will post this there if there is one.

Serious.Bollywood films are so bad that even a half decent film becomes a masterpiece.
That was a masterpiece irrespective of what Bollywood dishes out. It was a rare gem of a movie from a prolific director :hatsoff:.

The Mig 21 & defence minister plot is lifted from a movie called "All My Sons" The documentry part and the actors turing into the characters is lifted from "Jesus of Montreal"
What a prolific director :hatsoff:.

Spot on. Gotta agree to that. RDB was a good movie but calling it a masterpiece is comedy.
