Lahore, May 2 (ANI): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wants multiple visas for country's cricket fans who would be coming to India during the 2011 World Cup. Buzz up! PCB's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Wasim Bari said if the Indian agencies would not allow multiple visas for Pakistani fans, it would be against International Cricket Council (ICC) norms. "Ever since T20 cricket has posed a serious challenge to Test and one-day cricket, the ICC as a matter of policy wants more supporters for the sport specially Test and ODI cricket," The Daily Times quoted Bari, as saying. "And, if our spectators are not facilitated to travel to India for the World Cup matches it would in one way negate the ICC policy," he added. Bari, however, expressed the hope that matters would be resolved by the time World Cup approaches and believed that tension between India and Pakistan would also ease out till next year. "We will soon take up this matter at our level but we are hopeful that by the time the World Cup comes around the situation between Pakistan and India would also have eased out," he said. Bari also called on for resumption of bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan, and added that the sport could play a big role in reducing tension between the two neighbours. "The fans want to see Pakistan and India play against each other and I personally think the only way to move forward is to improve relations between the neighbouring countries and cricket can play a big role in this," he said. Why would pak fans want to travel to India? They will need Indian visas only if Pakistan reaches the finals of the World Cup and the chances of that happening are as good as me doing a spacewalk or being the first man to land on Mars!!

Hell NO !!!! In fact -- every single Paki should be made to report to a police station every 2 days -- just so we can track them. Apparently there were problems last time -- from the 8000(or was it 2000) who came here some 70 were un-trackable. Not sure what happened to them after that. BTW I have no qualms about Pakis treating Indians the same way. At least that will stop 80% of them from visiting that hole, not even sure why they want to do that.

Then Don't Bloody Read. Give me one good reason why Indians Should Treat Pakis any better! Regarding my post being rubbish, as I have said you guys need to put brain between the two ear-lobes and not somewhere else. Before you launch into a tirade. Read this you moron! http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-130251236.html BTW you don't seem to have a problem where USA treats you -- pretty much similar. And Yes USA has a much better tracking system where they can find you -- if you get lost and hence probably don't require you to report to Police Station, unfortunately India does not have such a system and hence harsher measures.

I have heard that even Muslim nations like Indonesia ask Pakistanis to have someone sponsor their visa in Indonesia. With the Indonesian having to sign when the Pakistani national arrives and leaves Indonesia :haha:
