thevortex Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Not sure if its fair on the players, but that sure is some awesome creative expression!
Nova Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 Not sure if its fair on the players' date=' but that sure is some awesome creative expression![/quote'] It was not easy to make something like this. I had mixed feelings. It started out as Dhoni sitting on the plane implying that his team is coming back home. It was hard for me to write "Wannabe King". The word wannabe has negative connotations. I don't see Dhoni in that sense and may be it's not fair to the players but I took some poetic license if you will. The IPL financial fiasco tied the whole thing together. People interpret things in their own way. If anyone missed it earlier, I made something similar titled "Pak Wars" based on the Star Wars movie theme. Check it out here: http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=923745&postcount=116 I guess India now has its own version of LOTR. It ain't no fun when you take a dig only against your opponents. Sometimes it's best to take things in a lighter vein. :winky:
achilles Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 :hysterical::hysterical: Sensational stuff :hysterical::hysterical: One tournament to rule them all, one tournament to find them, One tournament to bring them all and during the advertisements bind them? :hatsoff:
EnterTheVoid Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I don't find this funny. I mean, the players are practically worked to death and with so much fatigue, what kind of results are people realistically expecting ? Really feel sorry for Dhoni, poor guy, do you really think he wants to be a part of the IPL ? If he wants to leave, do you think they'll let him go ?
Lord Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: great work, provide some laughter in bad mood
